Are you overwhelmed with the social media options of 2020?
There are many platforms to choose from and it can be tricky to determine where to focus your energy!
From Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter and more, the options can seem endless.
So where do you start?
If your business primarily deals with other businesses, a B2B company, you’ll want your business to be where your audience is.
So for B2B businesses, you might focus your efforts on LinkedIn or Facebook. Typically, these two platforms are more readily utilized by B2B companies than say, Instagram.
On the flip side, if your audience would benefit more from promoting on a visual platform, Instagram or Youtube might be just the ticket!
This may be the case for artists, online retailers, or related brands.
For businesses with smaller, niche groups, you may want to really focus on specific sets of individuals with unique content and community engagement. This can also be helpful in businesses with a strong referral base.
Facebook Groups can create a tight-knit community for a more individualized experience with your brand. Instagram has begun implementing a feature like this as well, allowing users to post stories to “Close Friends.”
At the opposite end of the spectrum, a social platform like TikTok comes with the ability to reach millions if a post goes viral.
